It's a pro-Palestinian group that insists on calling itself pro-Israel because it believes that will make it more acceptable among Jews. J Street's actual positions have been to relentlessly criticize Israel and demand that the US pressure Israel into complying with Palestinian demands. If J Street wants credibility, it should come out of the closet as a Jewish Pro-Palestinian Lobby. Pretending to be what it's not, will never give it any credibility. J Street is not Pro-Israel. It’s a pro-Palestinian group that insists on calling itself pro-Israel because it believes that will make it more acceptable among Jews.
